Are there activities for children nearby ?
Both Naples and Marco Island have activities for children. Besides great beaches, there are movie theaters, mini-golf courses, zoos, water parks, malls, go-kart parks, horse trails and restaurants that cater to children. This is just a small sample of things to do. |

Is there golf nearby ?
Yes. There are plenty of championship golf courses within minutes of Verona Walk Country Club. |

Besides the Verona Walk work-out room, is there a fitness center nearby ?
There are community centers within driving distance including a YMCA and a Gold's Gym. A public community center also offers fitness classes and training equipment. |

How far away is the nearest supermarket ?
Publix and a Wal-Mart Super Center are located up the street from the main entrance. Both are great for all of your supplies. |

What is the nearest beach ?
The complex is equidistance to both Naples downtown beaches and Marco Island downtown beaches. |

Is there good shelling on the beaches ?
Because Verona Walk is located equidistant to downtown Naples and downtown Marco Island, you have the best of both worlds for great shelling. Besides these two famous beaches, Bonita Springs, Ft. Myers Beach, Captiva Island and Sanibel Island beaches are within a half-hour drive. |

Are the vacation units privately owned or is this a rental service ?
Yes, I own this site and the unit. This is not a real estate service. You will not be disappointed and will be very pleasantly surprised at what I offer for your vacation dollar. Renting direct will save you money. You will also find many extra amenities. The units have many upgrades that others do not. |

Can I see the home beforehand ?
Absolutely! If you are in the area or would like to make a trip to see the unit, I can arrange a walk-through. If the unit is currently being rented, I would need to seek permission from the guest. As an alternative, please view the pictures that I have made a part of this website. |

What if something does not work in the home ?
A binder is located inside of the unit with local caretakers to call. Non-emergency problems will be attended to within 24 hours from the time they are reported. Other important phone numbers, including the fire department and county sheriff, are also located in the information binder. |

What supplies are in the home ? What about linens ?
The units are fully furnished and equipped. Linens and towels are also provided. However, the units are self-catering which means cleaning products, additional paper products and garbage bags are not supplied. A starter supply is made available. |

What if I want daily or weekly maid service ?
Optional service can be arranged. Please inquire prior to your arrival at the unit. |

What do I need to bring ?
Here are some ideas... paper towels and napkins, dishwashing liquid, detergent, cleaning supplies, soap, toilet tissue, garbage bags, medicines, shampoo, toothpaste, condiments, plastic wrap / foil, camera and film, suntan lotion, sunglasses, golf clubs and other recreational equipment. |

Is there a place to put our jet-ski / boat ?
Verona Walk association rules do not allow for the storage of jet-skis or boats. Marinas are located in Naples and Marco Island. Please contact a marina directly. |

In fairness to all renters, the fees are non-negotiable with the exception of a seven month stay or longer; or an occasional special that I may offer. |

You indicated a security deposit. Is this part of the rent ?
No. The security deposit is deposited into my home escrow account. After you depart the home, I have the local caretaker check the home. If there is no damage, the unit was left in clean order ( including linens) and there were no long distance phone calls, I mail the check from my account back to you within 30 days after your departure. |

What type of deposit is required ? And when ?

How do I receive the home key and pay the rent ?
The rent is normally paid in two installments - 30% due upon signing the lease agreement and the remainder, including the security deposit, is due 30 days before arrival. After I receive the final payment, I mail you the key along with a home arrival kit. |

Where do I leave the key upon my departure ?
The key originally mailed to you should be mailed back to me (envelope with postage and address will be provided). |

When I arrive at Verona Walk, how do I gain access ?
A letter will be sent to the home association and the gate house allowing you access to the property. |

I am a college student. Will you rent to me ?
I only rent to responsible adults, married couples and families. Minimum age for the contractual renter is 25. |

Do you give discounts for policeman, firemen, airlines, etc. ?
Because the units are privately owned by me and in fairness to all, I cannot allow special discounts. I do offer a discount for repeat renters or renting of both units at the same time. |

Current renters have first right for re-renting the same period next year. If the time does not conflict with a current renter I will rent 18 months in advance. Book early and save your date. |

Where is the rental agreement to sign ?

No, pets are not permitted. |

We live in a foreign country. Will it be easy to rent from you ?
Yes, because everything you need to know is stated on this web site, all you have to do is fax the signed rental agreement to my Chicago, IL (USA) fax at (312) 663 - 3161 and send the 30% deposit by mail or wire transfer. I will confirm receipt with you by email. While we can certainly communicate by phone, it is much easier to handle any further questions by email. All payments are in US dollars. Foreign references (previous visitors to the homes) are available upon request. |

How many people can occupy a home ?
You are limited to six individuals (overnight) per home. This is by county law, home association rule and for your safety. |

Verona Walk Unit #5 master bedroom has a King size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. |

Who pays for utilities ?
I pay for electric and basic phone for continuous rentals 6 months and under. However, electric is limited to $125/month. Private pool heat will be $200/month. |

What should a renter do with trash ?
Verona Walk - Place trash in the individual green container located in the garage. The container should be moved to the outside on garbage collection days. The container is marked with the home address. Please do not leave full containers in the garage. |

Who pays for items such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, light bulbs ?
A starter set is provided. Please be courteous and replace items that you may use. |

Will sheets and towels be provided ?
Yes for both. A duplicate sheet set is available. As one is being washed the other may be put on. |
